A New Chapter Begins: ACCC Children’s Ministry Moves Into Multimillion-Dollar Facility
The Adelaide Chin Christian Church (ACCC) community is celebrating a historic milestone following the official completion and opening of its major building extension. After years of planning and a multimillion-dollar investment, the church has officially received its occupancy certificates from the council, signaling the start of a new era for its growing congregation.
With a membership exceeding 1,500 people, ACCC had long outgrown its existing facilities. The shortage of space was felt most acutely by the Children’s Ministry, which serves more than 400 Sunday School students. For a long time, the lack of enough dedicated rooms meant the ministry had to make do with limited space, but those days are now a thing of the past.

The Doors Open for the Next Generation
On February 8th, the church halls were filled with excitement as the children and Sunday School teachers officially moved into their brand-new, modern classrooms. The extension was designed specifically to provide a safe, spacious, and vibrant environment where the youngest members of the church can gather, study, and grow in their faith.
Seeing our children walk into their own rooms on the 8th of February was a reminder of why we invested so much into this project. This isn’t just bricks and dust; it is the spiritual foundation we have planted for the future of our descendants.
A Community Effort

The project, which cost millions of dollars, was made possible through the dedication and generosity of the ACCC congregation. Despite the logistical challenges of a large-scale construction, the goal remained clear: ensuring that every member—from the oldest to the youngest—has a place to belong.
With the council’s occupancy certificate now in hand, the church is looking forward to utilizing the full potential of the extension for various ministries, community events, and expanded worship services.
